Following the successful launches of Nike+ FuelBand and the Game On, World brand experience, transitioned to lead Nike+ Running, an existing platform of active users with a mature and hardened experience. The challenge was to grow our base and elevate our active user numbers. Leaning into our mission - leverage activity-based information and the power of community to make athletes* better - successfully grew Nike+ Running membership from 15M to 30M through a strategically crafted roadmap and brand activation moments.

Key outcomes:

  1. Grew membership base by 2x

  2. Integrated Nike+ Fuel into running experience

  3. Launched Nike+ Coach

  4. Launched Nike+ Photo Share

Role: Product Lead

  1. Partnered with digital agencies (R/GA and AKQA) to bring to life roadmap of strategic features

  2. Primary contact for Fullpower-MotionX gps engine development

  3. Worked closely with brand activation to drive membership acquisition

  4. Led “sport experience validation”, a unique blend of product specialist + quality assurance + athlete to ensure the accuracy of our metrics and the ease of use during activity

  5. Managed portfolio of products that seamlessly wove into the running platform - iOS app / Nike+ GPS SportWatch / Nike+ SportBand / nikeplus.com/running
